Cultivating something different

I have never been a fan of reading a book. Every since school time, books scare me. I tried reading some of those self help books like the mars and venus book as well as the moving cheese book and even Robert Kiyosaki’s books which many claims to be the bible to ‘financial independence’.

My mom told me that I like to read Reader’s Digest. I do not think so, I read only a little here and there. Nothing much.. the jokes section and at times some of the stories.

But recently, I was introduced to this author named Dan Brown. It was a little hard to get through the first few pages since I sort of have a phobia of books, but after that, I was not able to put down the book. I have just finished Angels and Demons, his first book to feature Robert Langdon. The second is the more well known Da Vinci Code which I am now reading. He has two other books, Deception Point and Digital Fortress. Will be getting them soon.

Since we are on the book topic, my cousin will be launching his book “Fourteen Bullets” in MPH Mid Valley and 1 Utama this weekend. Guess we have an author in the family now. hehe.
