Finally shifted office to Cyberjaya.

What a headache. Shifted from a 6,000 square feet office into a 2,000 square feet office. Gosh!! The amount of documents, PCs and stuff… It took 3 x 3 tonne lorries to bring all those stuff over.

Anyways, some of us were there to supervise the moving in of our stuff. Some were not. I heard they went shopping while the rest of us slogged aways helping the movers arrange the boxes in the new office. Then after shopping, those few strode right in and immediately complained, asking why was their boxes places there and not here.

*sigh*

OK la.. bright side. The new office, although small, but have a very nice view of the sunset. Well, not actually FROM the new office but from the lift lobby.

My office will be based there, but I will not be going there often as I have work to complete at the project building. Good news for me cos Cyberjaya is a long way from home.

*sigh*

Monday morning. The dreaded day of the week. And so happens, this Monday morning started off REALLY bad.

For starters, the guy in charge came in late. We were supposed to give the trainees training today, and tomorrow. He has the presentation slides. I did some of it, say.. 75% of it and all he has to do is to complete the remaining 25% which is the most basic of all the training slides. He came in proclaiming that he has got no time.. in his words… “I seriously had no time at all to do the slides“..

However, the good news is that, there is a video shoot this morning which involves ALL the trainees and so the training is pushed back a little. Actually, should that guy in charge have some sense of responsibility in him, this video shoot would be a blow to the training as we would not to compress much of the training into a shorter time. But since that guy is not ready, the video shoot is a welcomed relieve.

Having said that, the kind of management seen here is from the bottom rank, if there is any measureable management at all. The PR lady does her own thing without consulting others. So here she is bossing everyone around while the rest of us just has to stand back and take it all in as she is the daughter of the holding company’s chairman.

*sigh*
