He Almost Kissed Me..

This morning, I was enroute to work. And I was patiently waiting with the other courteous drivers at a roundabout when this goodfornothingsorryexcuseforahumanbeingwhooughttobeslappedtwice came speeding from behind. I saw him coming from my rear view mirror and I could only move an inch or two to the front. That moron zoomed pass me, with centimetres to spare and squeezed his way between the two lane traffic at irresponsible speeds. He was driving a Kenari. A silver one.Someone should give him two tight slaps… and probably slap his mother three times for turning him into such a moron.

oh.. and I got this from one of the local dailies..

Sad Moments…

These few days.. since last week, I have been savouring every bit of my car as I can. Why? Because I will be letting go of it pretty soon.

My car is a 1992 Ford TX3 which sports a 1.8 DOHC 16 valves 145bhp engine, 4 wheel disc brakes in a two door hatch. It goes like the wind, drinks fuel like Coke and it cost me a bomb to maintain. During it’s hey days (early 1990s), this was THE car to have.

Today, if you are waiting for your car to be serviced, and you are waiting by the entrance of the workshop, a certain car drives by and people will go..

“WAA.. see see.. DC5 wor… fuhyor!!! POWER!!”

Note : DC5 is the latest Honda Integra, 200bhp from a 2.0 Litre DOHC i-VTEC engine. Sweet machine.

In the early 1990s, the same people would go…

“WAA.. see see… TX3 wor.. fuhyor!!! POWER!!!”

It is kind of a rare sight these days. There are three versions.

1) Crappy run-down version which is used by aunties to fetch the latest catch from the market.
2) Beautifully done up versions (like mine :P )
3) Super modded versions with loud BBQ-sized exhaust with their bellys almost scrapping the tarmac.

Anyways, I am letting it go due to its high maintenance cost and that it drinks a whole lot of fuel!

Here are some pics of my current (but not for too long) ride.
