Most of us Malaysians are a bunch of non-educated cavemen when we are behind the wheel. However, once out of the dreaded tin cans, mysteriously we become a whole new creature.

I was at a bank this afternoon, paying my taxes. As I was walking out, there was this guy. Obviously he works at a construction site. Chinese fella.. about mid 30s. Messy hair, typical construction site clothing.. Phua Chu Kang boots, skin showing signs of premature aging due to overexposure to sun. Looks like he could bash me into a pulp with one hand tied behind his back.

He was walking towards the bank door when a lady also tried to get in. That guy stopped, and opened the door for the lady. Waaa… good hor? I have seen well-dressed men who dun even bother to wait for any lady.

So I was uplifted by that scene I just witnessed. I was smiling all the way as I drove back to office.

But then, the ugly reared its head when I sat down at my station. One of our operators picked up a high drama along Jalan Pudu where this lady was trying to jump. My neighbour got all excited and was speculating that the jumper was a Chinese lady. Then he went on blabbing about how Chinese men are abusing their wives and pushing them to the limits.

Dem.. if I was as uneducated as he is, I would have smashed his face in.

For one, he was such a nuisance. Then… in a multiracial nation, who the hell is he to pass judgement like that. He even say that it is a FACT stated in some survey.

Fact or not, we do not wash dirty laundry in public.

Dem.. ruined my day.
