NOT AGAIN!!!!

I went to Mid Valley the other day to buy tickets for The Da Vinci Code movie, and since I had time to kill before having lunch with a fren there, I wondered into the Sony Promotional booth at the centre court. They had this promotion on visual products, mostly digital cameras and DV camcorders. But they also had this small section where they showcased their latest portable mp3 players.

Oh dear…

They had recently launched their latest mp3 player…

It is a range lower compared the one I was initially eyeing…

So… with the mp3 itch rapidly spreading…. I bought one…

This colour.. hehehe…

The difference is that this lower range does not have any cables (which is a good thing for me actually. No need so many cables) and that it has only a one line display, compared to the three line display of the other model. And instead of a 50 hour run time, this model only manages 28 hours.

Now I dun have to listen to the horrendous music they pipe in. MUAHAHAHAHAHA..

I just heard over the radio; someone actually called in to request the authorities to nab those people selling pirated DVDs where he was at.

I am touched… seriously.. that someone is actually against piracy.

I am against piracy, particularly when it comes to music, especially music by local groups as well as local movies.

But I am digusted by the way our censorship board is handling many issues. The more they try to censor, the more the public seeks out pirated stuff. Fine, there are many out there who will buy pirated DVDs even if the censorship board did not manage to snip anything out. But, because they snip, it attracts MORE people to pirated DVDs.

I quote one of my frens…

“… why would I wanna buy a RM100 DVD movie with censored scenes or languages when I can buy a fully uncensored version for RM8?…”

Anyways, one of the many discussed issues among my frens now, and I am sure among many of you out there as well, is the issue of The Da Vinci Code movie.

It is amazing how this movie was allowed to be screened when Hell Boy was renamed Homo Sapiens, and DareDevil banned. And more amazing when there are already tension amongst Christians about its contents. Again, this is not about racial nor religion. It is all about being prudent when you decide what should or shouldn’t the nation watch.

The reason, which I come to understand, behind banning Dare Devil was because the movie depicted some voilent act which might corupt young minds.

Hmm.. then you people must be thinking that it is OK for young minds to follow the footsteps of Silas and wear that prickly belt around their thighs and start whipping themselves?

What’s that? The movie is rated 18SX? Duh!!!.. they can also rate DD 18SX right?

*sigh*

Better stop now before I post something which might get me a one way ticket to the slammers.

Working with dungus all day long, makes you feel like one yourself. I have a serious mental block for the pass week. With all the horrendous music playing, with morons singing along, one might just go crazy.

These people seriously have got no idea what REAL work is about. They are horribly and shamelessly lazy to the point that they would rather sit around staring blankly into a monitor that do actual work.

I am guessing that many of you have heard horror stories about how them indon maids are brainless? Well, I used to slash out when someone tells me how stupid their maids are. Now I realise that it is be true.

Tell these people to do one thing, they dun do it. Tell them again, they nod their hollow heads, then they still dun do it. You can tell them a million and one time and they still would not do it. Or rather, still do those things you ask them not to do it.

And they take breaks as if it is their RIGHT. I have timed one of them, and that bugger took a total of 5 hours plus in break time. Wahaha… unbelievable right? So I timed another…. about the same.. 5 plus hours. Hmm.. something not right, so I timed yet another…. result? Yeah.. same.. 5 plus hours. OK lar.. I did not actually sit at the door with a stopwatch. I have this monitoring software which shows me the total time they are seated at their workstation. That leaves only about 4 hours for them to do actual work. That also, most of the time they slouch at their station, singing along to the horrendous music playing overhead.

*sigh* Can die right? I think I have wasted by energy blowing my top at one of them.

Now I know why I HATE getting my official documents done. Now I know why I have to line up EARLY in the morning so that I can get things done that day itself.

ps - if anyone of you out there thinks that this is a racist post, please go hold hands with the KKK and jump of your toilet bowl… yeah… technically you wun die… but seeing how stupid and narrow minded you are, you would probably think that you will die jumping off toilet bowls.
