I have been having this error the entire day. I have had this error before.

Basically I am not able to sign in into MSN Messenger and it gives and error message [error 81000314]. I thought it was something to do with the MSN Messenger service being unavailable due to maintenance or upgrading works.

Today, I got fed up (mainly because I am on night shift and there is really nothing much to do). So I did a search on the Internet and found out that this error has plagued many others. The official response is to “Wait and try again”

Hmmm… what kind of response is that? I have waited the entire day, and still the same thing. It is not maintenance or upgrading work. This error occurs only to selected domains at a time. My other contacts in MSN are able to log in. So what is wrong? My proxy server acting up? Yes, my proxy server is acting up, but when it does, it usually means connection problems. IE. dropped connections.

So.. I guess the big and mighty tech conglomerate has much similarities with our dear local auto-manufacturer.

Customer : My car got this problem that problem
Service fella : Aiya… local car mar. What you expect? Sure got some problem wan lar. Normal.
Customer : So can solve or not wan?
Service Fella : Aiya.. small small problem.. need to solve meh?
Customer : But this is my first service wor. Of course wan to solve lar
Service Fella : *show black face* Ok lar… solve for you lar

Customer collects car 6 hours later, problem 1, 5 and 12 solved. But 5 new problems surfaces.

AHAHAHA…..

Thank goodness my car have not given me much problems.. *touches wood*
