We had a little gathering last night to meet up with her. And yes, all the buayas of the forum turned up. Well, not all, but the most ferocious buayas turned up.

Steamboat Fury

I had never seen anything like what I saw last Saturday when a group of us went for steamboat buffet in Sunway. It was almost like a warzone!! The buffet line up was OK. Fresh stuff laid out nicely where there is some order. Even the ice cream counter, there is a proper line. But, when the chicken wings came out, people rushed.. no.. scrambled for it. They were like those unfortunate people in a war-torn country which is facing famine rushing to a helicopter delivering food aid. No lar.. these people were even worse.

At first, they used the pinchers (if that is what it is called) to pick the chicken wings from the tray. One huge tray, which could feed two dozen BIG people like me, will somehow make their way to two people. So in the end, they resorted to using their own forks. Then the tray of chicken wings ended up in four, maybe five people. In the end, they resorted to using their own hands. But due to the hot nature of the freshly cooked chicken wings, they stopped using their hands and used their plates to scoop up the chicken wings. Up to a point where they looked a lot like piranhas in the amazon river, attacking a fallen bird or something like that. When the waiter came out of the kitchen to replenish the chicken wings, they were already there waiting by the empty tray. Waiter replaces the tray….. a flurry of clinks and clanks.. the crowd dispersed, leaving an empty tray.

Scary I tell you.

Of course I had my fair share of hustling for the chicken wing. Have to you know. Otherwise no chicken wing. But we were there early. Not many people to push to the floor to get to the chicken wing.

Home-Cooked Food

Now this is something better. Home cooked food. Nice, comfortable and cosy setting. Beautiful cook, wonderful host.

And our gracious cook and host got her little new toy. Poor little gorgeous girl have been thinking and thinking about this toy for like over a decade month. She finally bought it during the recent PC fair. A very good deal I must say.

Some of my friends had asked me to show them the article I posted about picking up girls. But before I link you guys there, let me just clarify that I am no master at picking up girls. Infact, I SUCK at picking up girls. I can not walk up to a complete stranger (girl of course) and strike up a conversation. Unless, I am 80% saturated with alcohol. A 40% beer and 40% whiskey would be an even better mixture.

Anyhow, that post was posted as a joke, but with a pinch of truth in it. So, go pinch out the truth and laff at the joke, if those are jokes to start with..
