Metrosexual.. anyone?
On my way to work this morning, the morning DJs raised an issue over the air; Metrosexuality. They spoke briefly about it and went on to play some song.
What is metrosexuality? What do you think it it?
British journalist, Mark Simpson describes it as a trait of an urban male of any sexual orientation who has a strong aesthetic sense and spends a great amount of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle.Do you have this trait?
More importantly, are you ready to accept someone who is metrosexual?
Even more important, are our Malaysian ladies ready to accept someone who is metrosexual. What are their views on metrosexual guys? Do they prefer this new age man? Or do they still prefer an alpha-male?
My short discussion with a female fren reveals that she still prefers a man who knows how to handle a tool to fix things. But if her Mr. Fit-It can take care of his looks and has a good fashion sense, even better.

Girls have been worshipping metros all their life.
My way of putting it….act like gay but not gay!!! Thats metrosexual for ya!!

Cehh..I have no problems with metrosex guys! If i have a metrosex bf we can bitch about fashion, products and shoes…Wahh damn nice eh.. hehehehehe… Know anyone like that?? Intro me lah.. haha… i want a metrosexual boyflen!

I agree with your female friend. I’m all up for a guy who knows how to dress and take care of his looks, just don’t go overboard by being too vain and taking longer than females to pick an outfit or using the toilet (unless you’ve got big business to do inside hehe)
Other than that, I don’t see anything wrong with males these days to be metrosexually inclined. It’s high time the males get a clue on what to wear during which occasion without us females pointing it out. It’s pretty fun too, you know, going out shopping with metrosexual male friends, mind you, they are not gay, but just have a very good eye when it comes to clothes and fashion.
