Christmas… time for giving? True meaning of Christmas maybe loss in wine, celebrations and presents. At least there are still people with big hearts around.

When the rush for Christmas shopping was at it’s peak, the southern most state, Johor was hit badly with flooding. The true Malaysian spirit sprang into action and a lot of people were saved by individuals who think nothing of themselves and went out on a limb to help those in need. Sad to say that I heard a lot of horror stories about people who were supposed to assist, chose not to.

Anyways, a big thank you to the MRC club… Tommy and Eric who lend their helping hand and provided rations for those who needed it. Here is a picture of them and their mean machines… .. photo thanks to Eric Wong.

On a smaller scale, some of us hosted a party for the less fortunate kids of Rumah Angels. Nothing grand, just makan, presents, balloons and a clown.
