I experience this when I was parking in a proper parking lot and there's a van blocking my vehicle by just park behind me even there's a vacant parking lot 1 cars next to mine. They just don't bother to park inside the parking lot. Guess what, the best thing is I have to honk and wait for 30 minutes for the driver to come. I was lucky cause my friend ask me not to smash his driver windows and release the hand brake. When the driver arrive, I talk to him nicely can you please park you car properly. The bloody driver just show me his middle finger. The driver is in his 50's. I was stopped by my friend, else I would have wallup that fella. You can't get everyone to see the whole picture. As in your case, bystanders would just say wait for 2 minutes can die meh?. But when you're in a rush or emergency, 1 seconds can make a big difference between live and dead. It's good to know that TL drive a Hilux with those bumper. I did that once with my office Ford Ranger in Midvalley where there's a car park behind me near the wall (even there's a sign of NO Parking, clamping zone there). A 4WD vehicle is kinda long and it need some space to get out of the parking lot. I am not going to wait for the owner again thus I just drive my car out, dented the door and front fender badly. The security guard just smile at me. BTW the car it the latest Honda Civic. IMHO, most people are educated. They just do as they wish. Welcome to Malaysia. I've encountered drivers who cut in without indicating and after giving then a honk or a flash, they retaliate back without realizing their mistake. Shows how uneducated some people really are. Under the traffic law, if you knocked into a vehicle which came out from a slip road and traveled less than 30 metres, you are in the right. Malaysians drivers always think if they are knocked from the rear, they are always correct. This is not always the case. To counter this problem, I bought a Hilux and fitted it with a huge aluminum bullbar. Since then I have crashed into 5 cars coming out of slip roads without stopping and 3 cars entering roundabout without stopping. Life is GOOD!!! I would have done the same and probably drive my Hilux ‘thru’ his car.
