ThreeSixty Fashion @ Amuleto

February 3rd, 2009 by kamkuey

If you have not tried Ameluto, please do. They are located at Mid Valley’s ground floor, right next to Maybank. Generally, make your way out the Starbuck entrance at the centre court. Turn right and head on down straight till you see Amuleto on your right. They are located further down from Chilli’s.

Anyways, they held a New Year food tasting in conjunction with ThreeSixty Degree. Very fashionable. And they invited some bloggers to go along :)

Welcome 2009!

January 4th, 2009 by kamkuey

And what better way than to welcome the new year with a feast?

So a small group of us went for a sumptuous buffet at Jogoya Jap Buffet. Quite pricey @ RM88++ per head for dinner. But, if you had tried Jogoya, you would know that it is worth it. If you compare to some other jap buffet restaurants, this is still the best place to go. If you are thinking, that Shogun is more worth it because it costs about RM30-40 less, you owe it to yourself to check out Jogoya at least once. Despite being warned that Shogun is horrible, I went ahead and tried it out. And yes, it was horrible. Like I said to many, that it is like… Japanese Buffet Chap Fan. Seriously. Anyways, without getting into details… as usual.. here are the photos to do the talking.

This is one of my favourite dishes…

Photobucket

Prawn tempura? I dunno… dipped into their wasabi mayo.. fuah… nice!!

The rest went straight for fresh oysters.

Photobucket
Big HUGE ones…

This is Alan… and a sequence of how he enjoyed his HUGE oysters…

Photobucket
Squeeze some lime…

Photobucket
Make sure you squeeze em dry..

Photobucket
Pick it up..

Photobucket
Scoop it loose..

Photobucket
Then put them into your mouth…

Photobucket
But dun forget to pose for the camera first…

Photobucket
Then you try to take em all in one shot…

Photobucket
But HUGE oyster too big…

Photobucket
So let’s try with some.. err.. wasabi?

Photobucket
This is Khai… also enjoying the oysters..

Unfortunately, I am not much a fan of oysters. Sad right? Wahaha… I am more for cooked or grilled food.. like this..

Photobucket
Lamb…

Photobucket
… Jason… enjoying a piece of lamb

Photobucket
And if one day you go try Jogoya.. must not forget to try their coconuts.

Photobucket
They have quite nice vegetables as well..

Photobucket
This one best! Long beans stirfried with garlic.. yum!!

Photobucket
I dunno what this is.. mushrooms?

Photobucket
Erm… this is… beef?

Photobucket
And not forgetting Haagen Daz icecream!!!

And the camwhoring begins..

Photobucket
Kim

Photobucket
Jess

Photobucket
Hmmm..

Photobucket
Khai

Photobucket
My girl… :P

Photobucket
Sherry

Photobucket
Panda

Photobucket
Khai : Eih.. u curi my food ar?

Photobucket
Jason : Har? What food? No ah.. I no curi ah…

Photobucket
Errr…

Photobucket
And last but not least… my ‘be-earlied’ birthday cake :) Thanks guys.. hehe… din expect it..keke

So anyways… that’s about it… did not manage to take any more photos, was busy eating.. hahaha
